  • What is Aromatherapy?

    Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils and other natural compounds extracted from plants. It works through sense of smell and absorption in the skin to Improve psychological and physical well-being.

  • How can I expect to feel?

    Essential oils used in Aromatherapy are known to have antimicrobial effects, preservative effects, anti-stress effects, anti-depressive effects, anti-inflammatory effects and immune-enhancing effects. After an aromatherapy treatment you may experience an emotional release and some may feel a sore head. This is perfectly normal and plenty of water is recommended.

  • What is a Seaweed Bath and what are the benefits?

    A Seaweed Bath consists of dried seaweed in a steaming hot bath which creates an oily soak to improve blood circulation, detoxification of the body, soften tired muscles, improve thyroid health, promotes sleep and helps alleviate symptoms of acne, psoriasis and eczema all while allowing the body to deeply relax.

  • What do I wear for a Seaweed bath?

    During treatment we require underwear to be kept on. Your modesty will be covered at all times for your comfort unless the client chooses otherwise. For our seaweed baths a bathing suit is required.

  • Pregnancy Massage

    Our Aromatherapy Associates pregnancy massage can be safely performed only after 14 weeks and treatments can resume as normal 6 weeks post pregnancy or 12 weeks after Caesarean. Our facials can be carried out from day 1. A seaweed bath is also not recommended until after 14 weeks and client should be mindful of the temperature of the baths.  

  • Covid-19 Restrictions

    Unfortunately, at present, the number of clients allowed in Eclectic are restricted due to social distancing. We can only comply with the government guidelines and will continue to practice Covid-19 prevention. Please note our staff are fully trained in Covid-19 infection prevention and control.

  • Age restrictions

    We are strictly 16+. Some treatments may require adult supervision.
